how often do we Dr3@m yet push those Dr3@m$ aside because we’re forced to deal with the Reality before us; treading in barren hopes, but not courageous enough to fight for what it is that we desire most? Go ahead and ask yourself… HOW OFTEN? When was the last time you dared to make your Dr3@m$ a R3@li+y? When was the last time you took a chance on yourself? I BET there was a Looooooooooooooooong Pause before an answer… Wasn’t there? Often enough we find ourselves wrestling with our responsibilities and neglecting our passions. We are so unfair to ourselves. We fight with the grand ideas that we have because we fear failure or societies views of what’s possible and what’s impossible; leaving us stripped of the true joys of our lives and lying naked in our misery. And there we lay.. TOSSING, and TURNING, YELLING, SCREAMING, KICKING, CUSSING, and BASKING in its rotting pool until we lie DEAD!! Emotionally Raped of our happiness and robbed of the very thing that sets us apart and sets us free. The result of A Dr3@m Deferred. And who’s to blame, but ONESELF!! If only you’d taken that chance! If only you’d painted that picture that you’ve envsioned so many times, or took that trip that you’ve been planning since childhood, or kept your standards up when you met that guy, or sang that song, or written that novel, walked that catwalk, or went to that audition… If only you Dared to Dr3@m.. to make your Dr3@ms a R3@li+y and live in the JOYS of your PASSION. If only you’d attempted to do the possibly impossible… BUT you find yourself afraid. Afraid to be like the father that never got his dream off the front porch or afraid to be like the mother who’d been hurt over and over again, or the brother who died trying to be better than his ancestors.. or the sister who gave up on herself because she forgot her own worth. Afraid because you fear a little struggle or how about YOU JUST DON’T BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! You’re afraid that something you do might actually be GREAT, That it might actually be WORTH SOMETHING!! What a COWARD… Yea I said it… WHO GON CHECK ME BOO? But seriously.. There is nothing to be afraid of. You know it’s funny people always say, “life is not a fairytale” and “nothing happens like that in real life” but what we fail to realize is that it happens everyday! Somewhere in the world someone goes from nothing to something just like that. And while it may not be on celebrity status just something as simple as going from being single to in a relationship is a feat to be proud of because somewhere, someone, is sleeping… ALONE. EVERYONE has a story an though yours may not be like mine or vice versa there is still hope for E V E R Y O N E of US!! If only you’d Dare to Dr3@m!! If only you weren’t afraid to believe in yourself. If only you weren’t afraid to step out on faith and into the unfamiliar. If only you’d trust your own talents and your own heart… Where would you be?Could you be the next Picasso, or DIOR, or Chanel… the next Micheal Jackson or Frank Sinatra, or even the Next Tyra or Oprah, Beyonce or Marilyn Monroe? Who Knows? You see the thing about life is that it comes and goes. Those who have conquered their dreams must at some point move on; And who will take their places? I know I will… Will You… Dare to Dr3@m? Or will you remain a slave to your misery? Think About it.The question was once asked “What happens to a Dr3@m deferred?” But my question is “What happens to the Dr3@mer who throws it away?” Does he dry up like a raisin in the sun? :(… There is a PASSION inside E V E R Y O N E of US! Mine… Is one to make everything around me Beautiful… To bring life to those who have forgotten how to live, and to be better with each day than I am the day before!! Now it’s your turn. Look in the Mirror and ask yourself… “What’s Yours” What makes your heart beat rapidly, and your palms sweat, what sends chills down your spine and puts a smile on your face? What takes you to bed at night and greets you in the morning? And I’m not talking about that guy or that girl… I’m talking about yourself.. YOUR PASSION!!!Just think about it for a minute..
